This July, Google’s Chrome web browser will begin blocking URLs that do not have an SSL security certificate (https://). What this means is that once a user clicks on a site with a URL that begins with ‘http:// (without an ‘s’) they’ll see a warning message telling them that the page is unsafe.

If you’re a MaxBounty affiliate, we do not want you to be negatively affected by these changes. We know how much work goes into promoting offers and obtaining traffic and we don’t want your conversion rates to be negatively impacted by the aforementioned warning message.

We have taken the appropriate actions to ensure any MaxBounty links that are used to promote offers are secured with ‘https://’. We’re also working with our advertisers to make the make the same necessary actions to the campaigns you’ll be promoting.

What to do 

If any MaxBounty links you’re using to promote offers do not have an ‘s’ at the end of ‘http’, simply insert one yourself to ensure your page is deemed secure, and that users do not receive Chrome’s warning message.
